DR. SUPRIYA ANTARKAR JOSHI

Dr. Supriya is a senior Physiotherapist from Pune, Maharashtra and runs Cura Physiotherapy Clinicʀ at prime locations in Pune with her team. Cura Physiotherapy clinicʀ is a trusted brand in the region for physiotherapy services for past 16 years.

She has a vast experience of working in the field of Physiotherapy for past 18 years. In these 18 years of service of joint pain management, Dr.Supriya and her team are committed towards excellence with extreme care and monitoring,with the trust of 10 thousand+ patients for right diagnosis with assured remarkable care.

After completing her Physiotherapy graduation in year 2004 from Sancheti Institute College of Physiotherapy, Pune (One of the most prominent colleges in India), she gained knowledge of working in both hospital & clinic set up & started with her own practice in year 2007.

She is highly experienced in assessment & treatment of orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions. She understands that injuries and pain make normal life difficult and so it is always better to prevent them.

The urge for giving injury free life to her clients got her certified with Advance training in Ergonomics from International Ergonomic School, Italy.

She also works as freelance ergonomic consultant to various well known companies and organizations. She arranges employee wellness workshops in various corporate sectors for orthopedic rehabilitation and posture care.

Her knowledge and expertise in the senior fitness brought her to prestigious position of Secretary of Geriatric Society of India, Pune chapter(2017) Being a marathon runner and avid trekker herself, she is extremely driven for faster recovery and always keeps up to date with latest techniques in the field of physiotherapy. She is certified in Matrix rhythm therapy, Mulligan's joint mobilizations, Dry needling, Sports taping & Pregnancy exercise training are few to name. She understands that recovery happens from within and for that diet is crucial, which got her diploma in Dietics from Progressive fitness (2010).

To celebrate spirit of her hard work and compassion in services while impacting a larger society she was awarded as "Best Physiotherapist in Pune, 2019" under "India's Most Prominent Women Empowerment Awards".

She is also awarded with "India Prime Icon awards 2022" for her entreprenial journey so far.

She has also worked as lecturer to international personal training courses from ACE (American council on Exercise), and ACSM (American College on Sports Medicine) from BFY. She has also been faculties to various CME's for her knowledge in physiotherapy.

She is a course director for Diploma in Sports sciences courses for Institute of Sports Sciences and technologies. She an author for the sports sciences textbook under the same Institute.

She is always socially active in publishing articles in local newspapers, arranging free camps at Cura for social awareness. She writes about health and physiotherapy with name "Think of Pain..Think of Cura!" in her blog i.e www.curaphysiotherapy.blogspot.com
 
She works on physiotherapy public awareness by her health related videos on her YouTube channel, named "Fit with Cura". This makes her ready not only to treat joint pains but also to prevent them from coming back.
